Cowork Silvares

Silvares village is one of the oldest settlements in the municipality of Fundão, having existed since the early days of the Portuguese monarchy. Its name appears in a deed of donation from Lardosa to the Knights Templar, dated 1226. With its old residential nucleus around the old church and on the banks of the River Zêzere, Silvares is characterized by narrow streets, antique houses, various monuments, fountains and Roman basins.
