Alpedrinha is a village situated in the south of the Serra da Gardunha at an altitude of 556 meters. Due to its natural beauty, reclining on a mountainside, and its monumental heritage, it is nicknamed "Sintra da Beira". It is part of the Aldeias de Montanha (Mountain Villages) program, which aims to enhance knowledge of the villages as a whole. Its aim is to stimulate development based on strong rural traditions and new competitive factors such as technological development, creativity and innovation, the sharing economy, solidarity and sustainability. The motto of the Mountain Villages is "Authentic Nature, Genuine People".
